En plein air….

Another hospital appointment for the husband, another chance to try my hand at painting en plein air. By the sea again, near the Martello tower, away from too many people… our sea defences that try to stop coastal erosion have traditionally been wooden groynes (as in the splatter painting) but here they have built a rocky groyne/peninsular stretching out into the sea.

Good to sit and paint – though it was finished from a photo!

I hope your husband is ok. You have beautifully painted the rocks jutting out into the sea.

So, that’s why these exist! Good painting of the rocks. I like the color in the grays.
