Change is in the air…

Not a great deal of painting or posting since mid February when my husband came out of hospital. Why? well for one reason we have had visitors every weekend since then. Some have stayed overnight, some have been wonderful and cooked for me, some have bought food with them, some have bought us a takeaway (take-out) and we’ve had flowers and chocolates. But it does mean that the whole house has to be cleaned properly, beds made-up/washed… I’m not really complaining; it is wonderful to have visitors from afar and the ‘old man’ is pretty sick…

Still I have been able to sneak a couple of painting moments and am trying to steer away from my ‘safe’ subjects. Spring is in the air and the daffodils have been wonderful this year…

I started this post two weeks ago and now the daffodils have gone from the garden and we have had yet more visitors – so I’ll post this quick!

Beautiful signs of spring, designsweet, but oh we had snow here overnight; again!!! Thinking of you and yours during this time.

Lovely daffodil. I’m always so happy to see them pop up and announce Spring is here. (Even if it snowed Tuesday!)
