Big apples…big brushes

Two paintings of the same cooking apples… one done with big brushes – as I remembered that I read somewhere that you should use the biggest brush you can for watercolours.

The paintings are both 5×7″ but one is done using size 10 and 14 brushes – so much water – but I feel it has more life.cookers1 cookers2

I’ve heard that about brushes too. Hmmm. I think both sets of apples came out great.

Big or small brushes, your watercolors always come out with a luscious watery look. Nice apples!
