Woolly apples…

A bowl of apples – not painted – I’m struggling with strawberries at the moment. Set up a bowl to paint and then ate the lot. British strawberries are just so tasty! And even the strawberries that I am growing in my garden are getting ready to pick and eat – and just in time for Wimbledon!

But a friend called in the other day, she had commented on how she liked my pears painting and mentioned that she was going in to hospital soon for another op (one of many, poor thing) so I thought I might make her a bowl of fruit for when I visit. Eating might be a problem… so combine knitting, papier maiche and fruit – and what do you get? A bowl of knitted fruit!

Here are the apples resting in one of my papier maiche bowls.
